starting

 It is starting!!! it is so very dry!! have not watered all month as this is normally when the irrigation water is turned off, so thought i should comply with that, but the yard is drying up.. wish we would get a bit of rain. and the weather report shows continual  sunshine... which we like, but then i guess not really, seems like it is one extreme over the other.  tore out all of my little yellow flowers that just come up willy nilly every year. have a load for the dump for sure plus all of the sunflowers that went by the wayside last week...

Have a line on a puppy!! 4 wks old so will be awhile, they are up in southern Washington... so road trip!!! Boy it was kind of hard to find one...( this was just a coincidence, referred from a classmate from our monthly Class of '65 luncheon) also have applied to re-home another.. would like one that lost their person or a breeder that is no longer wanted.. and Brian/Robin are all in it with me, so that is good. seems, in all the reading i have done on the web sire, that is a long process and they have many applications to go thru, so we will see on that one.... they had one pic of a little girl. 3-4 yrs old, only 9# that was from a breeder that they no longer wanted... so mean... the puppy is from a family that only has a litter a year, not papered... but that makes no diff to me, i am certainly not going to have any puppies.... i would never be able to get rid of them and end up with a house FULL... think two would be my limit...
