Purpose

 House sat for my niece this week end and i found my purpose in life.... Kiki sat on my lap for two days! so nice and warm and cuddly and we just morphed into a Netflix story....

two dogs, two cats, 3 chickens..the other cat only came around for food twice a day. don't even know her name

AND it sure is quiet out there, in the hintherlands of Sisters...

AND i finally, finally got shelves up in my little craft place... and now have space on the table top to make things... am excited to start.. need to do xmas cards... and only have two made so far...

Kudos to Brian for putting them up while i was gone.. i wanted them purple, and they are getting the paint all scratched off them every time i pull something down.  think i used the wrong paint on the slick processed wood... i did sand them a bit.. oh well, with all the 'stuff' sitting on them u can't see that anyway and it is just shabby chic, right?? am trying to be oh, so organized. and am getting rid of LOTS of 'stuff'... some of it, i did not even know what why i bought, what it was used for or what my plans were so long ago.... some of the places i got those things are not even around anymore.. I could probably go on a trip with all the money i spent on things i did not even use... they only thing that makes me even feel a tiny bit ok is that i got that 'stuff' over a period of 30 yrs, it was not like i went out and got it all at once... which makes it sort of all right? right?

But is does feel good to get 'projects' completed and crossed off the list.  And Brian and robin picked up the leaves in the back yard, so that was a good thing.. there was grass under there.. and now if we get any moisture it will get right to the ground...
