 O. M. G!!! Finn!!!! i swear.... he got into my rent money that i get from my 2 boarders each week... and just tore the hell out of it, while i was cooking.. you know, when they are quiet...... beware

Took the 'girlies' to Petersen Rock Garden this week... This is really a remarkable place.  Petersen started collecting and building this in the 40's and worked on it until his death.  His daughter then got it and after a time was no longer able to keep it up, and last year it was sold, but to some people that see it's worth and are trying to refurbish.  It looks a lot better than the last time i was here, prob 6 years ago. but it is no where near as neat as it was when i was little and we would come to visit relatives every year and we would always stop here at least once in our visit.  They have peacocks too! which fascinated the girls, but there were NO big, long, beautiful feathers to be found!!! They thought if they followed them around all the time, one would magically fall off... but.... no... did not happen...

I just can't believe all the rocks and labor that went into this... hauling all the rocks from around the area and then placing everything...
