Days

 Nothing new going on, just day to day 'stuff' Did go visit Brian n robin when they were house sitting and Finn had a play date with 3!!! other dogs, he was crazy wild... but not snappy at all. He is pretty submissive. AND he was fairly exhausted that evening.  He is so long that he gets in weird positions. and his fav place is sitting on ME somewhere, up on my shoulders when in the chair. He likes looking outside and protecting me from any one who walks by!  Mostly in my lap..

 

Have had some fairly good luck with the flowers this year... deer must not like the day lilies, but they bite the heads/blooms off the dutch iris.. Also tried some Dahlias and they are coming up!!! so very excited, BUT those darn deer got one of them, most of the leaves were eaten.. they are only up about two inches, geez.... hope i get some out of the bunch.

AND my peonies bloomed!!! Had FOUR buds and they all bloomed.. deer must not like them... they are almost gone now, so will not be disappointed if they do get eaten...  have not gotten to the garden things tho!!! thank heavens.. think the sunflowers protect them somewhat, they about waist high now... the deer every now and again will get a mouthful on their way thru. of those, but not had a feeding frenzy ...

Just days go by and sometimes i don't even now the number, that it is Monday or Wednesday but not  the number and guess it is already into the almost halfway mark of the month... have bunches of cards need to get out to be timely and think i missed one. Lovely blue days... had some good sunsets... and in the 70's, but not too hot... had a day i think where it was a little warm, and got the ac hooked up and it works!!! Yay.... but really don't need it yet.  Had it on yesterday afternoon as it got a bit muggy in here, but when dark, cooled down and turned it off.
