Snow!!!

 Boy, we are getting ALL of our snow in one batch it seems.  It has been snowing ALL day long! Brian has been out shoveling 3X already and now there is so much more out there, it doesn't even look as if he were out there at all, except for the piles that are out there. and it is bitter cold, -1.... have the heat turned way up so i can keep it an even temp in here and the pipes don't freeze... keep my car in the garage... so u don't see it sitting in the drive way.

not been doing a darn thing, some baking. almost have my Liz Cheney book done....everyone should read it! what an eyeopener. Have also finished a couple of novels.., sent some birthday cards.. housework, got some things done that have been putting off.  Batteries in the thermostat, light bulbs in the fixtures in bathroom, laundry, Put the electric blanket i got for xmas on the bed.  Whoa, that feels Soooo good to have. can leave the window cracked and door closed and still stay warm w/o having to have the heat cranked up.. just have to get it set on what is a good heat for me, think the 1st couple days had it too warm, but down a notch or two and seems to work well for me.  haven't really been watching TV... been reading... in a quiet house.

The doldrums of January- Feb.... making doc appts, getting prescriptions filled and picked up.. you know just the everyday tiny things that need done

these light are purple, don't know why they look like this, this was at 4am the 1st morning of snow...
